Students Read Hacker Monthly For Free

When a few students commented they wouldn't be able to afford Hacker Monthly, I could relate to that - as I was (and I'm sure many of you were) once a student too. So I've been giving away 1 year digital subscription plan to students who emailed about it since.

Today, I'm making it official. If you are still studying in college/university, you get to read Hacker Monthly for free by submitting your details thru this form.

If you feel like giving back, tell your fellow hackers and roommates about this. Thank you.

Any chance of extending the offer to those of us still in high school? No .edu addresses, but at least in Denmark we're all given student ID cards with our year and DoB

Unfortunately german universities (and others to, I suppose) don't have special TLDs. Is there a way to work around this? I could send you a copy of my student-ID that you can validate online e.g.

Sure, Nick. I've updated the form to include a comment area. You could still use the form to submit your details, just add a note about it in the comment.

Would there be a possibility of offering the print version at a discount price? I really appreciate the free digital version, but I would be willing to pay for the print version if it was a little less (say $50).
